Rough Company began their journey in DeRidder, LA in 2017.  Kevin Boyette and Mike Welch made the decision to assemble a Classic Rock group to play music that they grew up with. Music that would bring back great memories of jam sessions, school dances, and exciting new bands that changed the way we looked at our world. Decades like the 70s, 80s, and 90s would create rock, funk, southern rock, and vocal bands singing 3-4 part harmony.

   Relocating to Moss Bluff, LA  expanded the pool of musicians available to sit in and play. The band met and jammed on weekend afternoons and pretty soon neighbors were stopping by to listen, bringing lawn chairs, enjoying the music they remembered. The talent lineup has gone through a few changes (which is natural) and each addition brought new flavors to the mix.  Come and hang out with Rough Company...you'll be glad you did!
