Drums and Percussion
How did you get started in Music?
Started playing drums in Jr. High and through High School. Jamming with friends and organized school music.
Types Music played?
Big Band, Pop, Hard Rock, Southern Rock, Blues, pretty much a little of everything.
Music Influences?
Metallica, Disturbed, Doobie Brothers, Chicago, Earth Wind and Fire, I like most all music
Why do you like to perform?
The feeling you get making music with others and watching crowd enjoyment.

Bass and guitar
How did you get started in Music?
I started in the school band playing tuba. My parents bought me a 6 string guitar and then I migrated to the bass.

Country, R&B, Classic Rock, Rock and Roll
Music Influences?
Alabama, Bob Seeger, Chicago, Doobie Bros., Eagles, Eric Clapton, George Strait, Huey Lewis, Journey, Lynard Skynard, Otis Redding, Van Morrison, Wilson Pickett, CCR, Dire Straits, and Swamp Pop
Why do you like to perform?
I always look forward to performing for a good participating crowd. Music is entertainment and if the crowd is participating, that means we are doing something right. I enjoy playing with good people like those in Rough Company.
Mike Welch
Lead Vocals, Trumpet, Flugelhorn and Flute
How did you get started in Music?
I started in the school band playing trumpet. I later taught myself to play flute. I've played with the Denver and Golden Colorado symphonies. Other groups that I've played with are Black Haze Express, Majestic Heat, MACE, and Armada.

Classic Rock, Southern Rock, R&B,, Jazz and Soul
Music Influences?
Chicago, Blood Sweat and Tears Doobie Bros., Eagles, Ten Wheel Drive, Tower of Power, Eddie Money, Earth, Wind, and Fire
Why you like to perform?
I love the energy of performing live. There's something about watching people dancing and having a great night out that is invigorating

How did you get started in Music?
Choir in elementary school, and band in middle school, I felt a deep connection with choral and instrumental music that has lasted. I've played flute, piccolo, baritone and piano. I later expanded my skills into musical theater as an actor director and choreographer for multiple musical productions. I've played and sang with other groups such as CHOOCH and the band Pistol Bridge,

Rock, Jazz, Blues, and my own original compositions.

Reba McEntire , Prince, Cranberries, Fuel, Metallica, Fleetwood Mac, Pink Floyd and many others
Why do you like to perform?
Exhilaration! It's the thrill of working with talented musicians or actors. Rough Company...Good company to have!
